I hope they're devleloping for PC first and then downsizing the graphics for consoles, otherwise I'll be pissed. I know how GTA IV turned out and it seems like the quality of a game drops when it goes from being exclusive to multi-platform. Then again, Crytek has studios in Germany, England, Ukraine, Hungary and Bulgaria. But seriosuly, they should develop it on the PC first and then downsize it for consoles. It shoudln't be hard considering PC games can be downsized to work on any PC so long as it meets minimum requirements. Also, they better not change any of the key layouts! ;)
Since I don't like to be seen as an ingrateful ass who makes selfish posts with nothing in it for anyone, I made this machinima short about my birthday. Enjoy!
Free cake for everyone!
I'll have you all know that I'm buying myself a Zune 120. :D
This is all the way from June when I built the computer I'm currently using. I only just now had time to edit together the video and voice it. I didn't not record the installation of the Graphics card because I was running out of time on my Mini DVD+RW. Fairly easy to install. If I can, I'll have a new video this year of me upgrading my system and another vuideo next year of me building a brand new top-of-the-line gaming rig (I hope to make it no expense spared). It's a good system for running Mirror's Edge at 1280x720/800 at Low settings (looks just like the XBOX version, no joke).
OK, so I downloaded the Zune software to my computer in a bit of curiosity as my friend told me the software is what made him not want a Zune. I had a little bit of trouble downloading it, but that was nothing major, and probably just my own fault.
Anyway, I started the software and began importing my music. Immediately, the software would traverse the Zune Marketplace and gave me missing album artwork, or used the artwork embedded in the MP3 meta-data. Amazing, because iTunes requires you to have an account for that. Signing up for a Zune account was easy as beans. All I had yo do was input my GamerTag and sign into Live. This is the upside to Windows (and XBOX) Live, just 1 account signs you into everything. It's the stuff of peoples dreams!
It feels nice that I can also customize the graphic in the background of the player. I have the Meridian background with screen graphics at Premium. The best part is that the player has a unified look which makes iTunes and Windows Media Player look like a bunch of 3rd party add-ons.
One more thing: Downloading music and videos from Zune is better than on iTunes, simply because of the fact that if I lose my files, I can redownload all the ones I purchased with Zune so long as I still have my account. Sure, it still has DRM, but it's better that Apple's purchase management that only annoys you every 2 days with an e-mailed reciept about a song you bought 4 days ago.
Overall, Zune > iTunes. I don't care what any of you say. The pink is refreshing compared to iTunes multi-toned GRAY AND BLUE scheme.
I really wish I could be able to go, but money's tight and I need to buy Ronimo Games' Swords and Soldiers, The Conduit, and MadWorld. It's also a bit ironic that the very games I want are going to have playable demos at NY Comic Con. Meh, whatever. Have fun who ever's going!
Anyway, Barack Obama was just inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States of America. I couldn't be happier, because for the first time in history, someone born in Hawaii will be the Commander in Chief that we all call Mr. President. Oh, did I mention Bush's no longer President and that Obama is black?
Additionally, I can easily play through "What I've Done" in GHWT on Expert. I don't think it's something to be too proud of, considering it's like the easiest song in the whole game, but whatever.
WTF? The Zune 3.0 download keeps stalling on me. I'm guessing a certain file server at Microsoft is a bit thick...
